Is £600 for a night at Mandarin Oriental Hotel a good value of money?

Whether £600 is a good or bad value of money for a stay at this hotel depends on one's wealthiness.  To most people, the main point of traveling aboard is getting to know the culture and enjoying the foreign country experience - that's why they book a cheaper alternate room at another hotel; they don't use it that often and can save a lot.  On the other hand, for someone who enjoys the luxury and is rich enough to afford it,  £600 might not seem like a big sum of money.  Despite that, to a majority of people, such a stay at this hotel is too expensive.
