Reflection #2

There was one time when I had to pull back a stranger to prevent them from walking right in front of a tram. While coming back home I have to cross a three-part street where the lights are not synchronized. There were green lights for crossing the street but in the middle where the tram rails are, the light was red. The man that I grabbed the arm of was staring at his phone and not looking where he was going.  The problem is that there are many situations similar to the one I described occurring every day. I don't think risking your life or others is worth scrolling mindlessly through facebook or writing a text. It always irritates me when I see people with phones bumping into others. That's why I try not to walk with my phone in hand.

  1. If you read your classmates' reflections, you'd be surprised how many negative comments they have about smartphones. I am surprised you still use them if they are such an evil thing!

  2. I agree with you in this case. I can see this problem all the time and I think this is the serious social issue. However, as you said, we can try to change our bad habits and use smartphones only when it's necessary.
