On our last geography lesson, we talked about ocean currents. We discussed an incident that happened in 1992 when twelve containers full of plastic bath toys spilled into the ocean because of a storm. That is why today I watched a film about how much plastic is in the ocean. There are six spots on Earth where huge amounts of plastic are gathered by currents. Said debris is broken down by sun, waves, and animals into very small pieces - which is why it is so hard to find a cleanup idea that could work.
